Crown Her Confidence is a PYT Society initiative created to restore confidence, dignity, and self-worth for women and teen girls experiencing hair loss due to illness or medical treatment.

From cancer and lupus to chronic conditions such as kidney disease and alopecia, hair loss can deeply impact identity and emotional well-being. For women living with diabetes, factors such as stress, hormonal changes, and fluctuating blood sugar levels can also contribute to hair thinning and loss—making education and support even more essential.

This initiative exists to remind every woman that her strength and beauty extend far beyond her diagnosis. Through this campaign, PYT aims to provide 100 women and teens with “Crown Kits”—including wigs, scarves, or headwraps—as symbols of resilience, hope, and self-love.
